Lenticular printing

Originality, creativity, quality, mastery ... these are the keywords of printing on a lenticular support …

Find out about some surprising, very high quality products using moving and 3D images thanks to SMIC printers’ know-how.
The Flip
2 images are printed superimposed. Depending on the inclination of the material, one or the other image appears.
Animated images
This process is identical to the Flip process but is made of 5 to 10 images. The inclination of the material will enable you to see the pictures one after the other, which gives an impression of movement (the images must therefore be in a logical order.).
Relief or 3D lmaging
The printed image has an effect of depth because parts of the image are more pronounced (in this case, there is no need to incline the material).
It is perfectly possible to combine these different products: Flip + 3D or Animation + 3D.
Quantity
  • Variable depending on the format of your product. To give an indication, the minimum quantity for a 55 x 86 mm (credit card) format: 55 000 copies.
  • It is possible to automatically add an adhesive on the back of the object.
Examples of use On the technical side
  • Book or booklet covers.
  • Postcards.
  • Packaging (flacons, video/CD-Rom/DVD boxes…).
  • Converters (currency, measures).
  • Promotional Documents (spotters, coasters, cards, mousepads…).
  • Posters (up to 50 x 35 cm format)...

3D images, Flips and Animations are printed on a plastic material divided into a number of ridges: lenticular.

But this particular material alone cannot provide the visual effects that we have described – a specific photogravure process is also necessary.

The whole production process is carried out in-house.

You supply us with the different elements (images, text) on digital media, with an idea of the final result you are looking for, and we do all the rest …
